Dan found Angel Fire, NM, where solace was met. He began as a chairlift operator and then represented Angel Fire Resort as General Counsel, a most highly esteemed professional and friend of the community. Dan worked tirelessly to support the Angel Fire community with civic projects, including the Association of Angel Fire Property Owners, David Westphall Foundation, Friends of Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the National Veterans Wellness & Healing Center -(a founder), Airport Advisory Board, Ski New Mexico Board of Directors, Ski New Mexio Steering Committee, Public Improvement District, Angel Fire Resort Liaison with the Village of Angel Fire Administration and Council, Angel Fire Resort Lobbyist, Colfax County Liasson, Village of Angel Fire Economic Development Committee. Most recently, he played a key role in bringing commercial flights to Angel Fire, NM Airport, so everyone could enjoy its beauty and healing as much as he did.

Most of all, Dan loved and adored his family, who will miss him most. His deep voice and caring heart completed our family, and we were so blessed to have this gentle soul love and protect us.
