Daniel Denny Boatright
Daniel (Dan) Denny Boatright age 89, loving husband, father, retired Air Force Veteran passed away May 16, 2025, after a long illness.
Dan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Dan was an avid fisherman, handyman and jack of all trades. He enjoyed working on his 1950 truck, Annabel and gardening. He lived life to the fullest and as Frank Sinatra said "I Did It My Way" was Dan's motto.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Priscilla, fur baby Trixie, sons Mike (Sherri), Bruce (Lyz), Brian Boatright and daughter Cindy Boatright. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brothers-in-law Gerald and Roberto, sisters-in-law Celina, Esther and Vera and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, all his siblings, and daughter in law Pat.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude for unwavering support and kindness given to Dan by Pastor Adam DeGroot, Bonnie from Veterans Health Care, Jose from Pres Health Care, Amber Care-especially Amanda, all the Hospice nurses and the Rio Rancho Fire Department.
A visitation will be held Thursday, June 5, 2025, between 5 and 7 p.m. at French-Westside, 9300 Golf Course Road NW, Albuquerque, NM . There will be a reception from 7:30 to 8:30 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 305 Unser Boulevard NE, Rio Rancho, NM. Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, with Pastor Adam DeGroot officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
