Damian Martin Arellano, 35, beloved son and brother was called home to his Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 14, 2020.
Damian was born on April 1, 1985 in Albuquerque, NM, born to Daniel and Alice Arellano. He is survived by his brother, Dante Arellano; sisters, Ciara Iverson, Royale Jareno, and Danielle Arellano. Damian was baptized at Bethel Heritage Church as a teenager where he strengthened his faith and love for the word of God. He grew up in the east mountains of Tijeras and attended A. Montoya Elementary, Roosevelt Middle School, and Manzano High School.
As a young boy he loved riding bikes with his brothers and sisters and was always accompanied by his dog, General. He was warm and compassionate towards animals and had a love for cats that he shared with his sisters. Damian was innovative and loved working on off roading trucks. He enjoyed working for hours modifying, rebuilding, and painting many different vehicles, including his dad's '77 Ford green truck. Many Saturdays were spent at gun and knife shows with his dad and brother and he handled weapons like a pro. He frequented antique stores and enjoyed the hunt to find small treasures he collected.
Damian had a quick wit and in his company, you were sure to have a good laugh, entertained for hours. A special memory was how he recited movie lines and used them in eveyday conversation. He was a fantastic cook, his eye for food presentation and creativity rivaled those in gourmet magazines. He was a dancer! If there was music, he was dancing and he always stood out in the crowd. Damian never went anywhere without looking sharp, dressed in his cowboy hat and boot cut Levis.
As he got older he attended Central New Mexico Community College and went on to work for Brycon Construction. He later worked for Discount Tire Co. as a ses manager where he enjoyed serving his customers and made many friendships, all the while, making the guys laugh. Damain was so compassionate and thoughtful and will be dearly missed.
His family has great peace that Damian is completely healed and walking with his Heavenly Father.
Private family services will be held at FRENCH.
