Corsinio Gene Martinez

Corsinio Gene Martinez (Cori), age 30 of Albuquerque, NM passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2026. Cori was born in Albuquerque on August 29, 1995, to Jennifer and Julian. Cori had a young cheerful heart and loved his family and friends. He was a great father, and his children were his world. He had a passion for cooking, Cookies, looking stylish, always making sure the cars were shining with his all-day detail process and just being his silly self. Cori was loved by many and will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Cori was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Ernie, Corsinio, Gene and Fernando; his great-grandmother, Luciana, Mable and Arolinda; and his uncle, Marcus and his cousin, John (Tre).

He is lovingly survived by his children, Marianna and Jr; his mother, Jennifer and stepfather, Erik; his father, Julian and stepmother, Susanne; his grandparents, John and Brenda, Fernando and Bertha, Paul and Rose, and Fred and Katherin; his great-grandparents, Tomasa and Doyle; his siblings, Jerrianna, Ava, Brielle, Daniel, Natacia, Julian Jr., and Estrella; his uncle, John and auntie, Vannah; auntie, Pam and uncle, Danny; auntie Holly and uncle, Chris; his cousins, Nathaniel and wife, Lexy, Erika, Dion, Jonah, Elijah, Bubba, Kayley, Zayne, and Rose; his furry pals, Lily, Marble, Buttercup and Savannah; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

The funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW Albuquerque, NM 87114 with a 9:00 a.m. viewing followed by a Rosary at 9:30 a.m., and Mass at 10:15 a.m. with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM 87102. A reception will be held preceding burial back at St. Jude Catholic Church. For those who are not able to attend, the services will be live streamed at STJUDENM.ORG.
