Consuelo "Connie" Banos passed away on September 18, 2026. Born on November 9, 1929, Connie lived a life deeply rooted in her Catholic faith and was a dedicated member of Annunciation Church. Known for her gentle spirit and kindness, she enjoyed playing bridge and gardening. She served professionally as a school secretary for the Albuquerque Public Schools. She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Vincent (husband Vernon) and Patricia Cruz; her five grandchildren, Sean Vincent, Nicole Allen, Christina Cruz, Christian Cruz, and Stephen Waselik; and her four great-grandchildren, Noah Allen, Colton Vincent, Gabriel Cruz, and Mona Cruz. She will be interred alongside her husband, George Banos, at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests that you perform random acts of kindness in her honor.
