Connor Malcolm McClain- Connor arrived into this world on October 13, 2005 and departed December 1, 2025. There are not enough words to describe the light that Connor brought into the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Connor was a student at the University of New Mexico and, although he was still finding himself, he had determined that a career in film was what he aspired for. Connor had a sense of creativity that most people could only dream of. His gift of drawing and writing was apparent as a young boy as he drew comics and wrote short stories in his free time. Connor had a passion for music and was constantly searching for songs and artists that resonated with him. He was an avid movie-goer from the moment he could sit up in a chair and dig into a bucket of popcorn. In addition to Connor's many interests was a tremendously beautiful soul. Connor had so much wisdom for someone as young as he was. He believed solely in what was good and right in this world, and defended his beliefs with every fiber of his being. Connor cared deeply about other people. Truly, the most important people in his life were his younger siblings: Rylee, 14, and Wynter, 8. Connor was older when his siblings were born, and he took on a very influential and protective role in their lives. Connor also leaves behind his mother, Amanda, and his father, Denny. He was so fortunate to have two of the most incredible parents who gave everything to ensure his happiness and well-being. Their grief in this time is unfathomable, but they are reminded of the true blessing that was their time with him.
Paragraphs and paragraphs could, and likely will, be written about how much Connor meant to us and how much we are going to miss him. While we are not likely doing any services at this time, we will be issuing any information as it comes to light. A GoFundMe and Meal Train have been set up for the McClain family as they work on healing from this devastating loss. We request that no flowers be sent to the family at this time, but condolences and visits are graciously appreciated.
We love you so much, Connor, You will forever be our best guy.
