It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son,
Connor Everett Dix
. Connor was born in Albuquerque on May 16, 2000, and passed on Tuesday, October 21, 2020.
Connor graduated from La Cueva High School and was attending the University of NM with an interest in medicine. He had a brilliant mind and was a gifted student, kind, and a loving son, brother, grandson, and friend to many. Connor will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
We all know the saying... “there are friends, there is family and there are friends that become family.” Well, Connor was blessed with a huge family. A village of people that loved him, celebrated and cheered his victories, and walked with him through life’s ups and downs.
When you think of Connor, celebrate the good memories you have of him. Remember his appreciation for the finer things and his tendency to be blunt in the most shocking way. Remember how animals were drawn to him, without exception, regardless of his cat allergy. Remember that life is fragile, and short, and should be lived to the fullest.
Connor is survived by his devoted mother and father, Amber and Matthew Dix; and his loving brothers, Bryce and Aidan Dix. He is also survived by his grandparents, Everett and Cheryl Dix; grandmother, Mona Kerr; aunts and uncles, Kelly and Will Dunbar, and Sean and Summer Kerr; as well as numerous loving cousins.
