Clyde was born on March 9, 1939 and remained a lifelong Albuquerque resident. He retired from Yellow Freight. He spent his retirement years camping and fishing, with family, and working for the Lord's Kingdom.
Clyde's legacy of Kingdom service was hewn and built at Boulevard Church, Bethel Baptist Church, Immanuel Baptist Church/Blake Road Baptist Church, and First Baptist Church West Albuquerque.
He was known for his servant's heart and genuine love for everyone around him. He cared for family, friends and neighbors with quiet strength and sacrificial generosity. His life was a faithful reflection of Christ's love, and his greatest desire was that all he came in contact with would come to know the love of Jesus.
Clyde is survived by his wife of 60 years, JoAnn Miller; his daughters, Kathy Skalbeck and Dean, and Kay Currier and Bill; his grandchildren, JoHannah Holguin, Brandon Currier, Ty Skalbeck, Joshua Skalbeck, Morgan Currier, and Faith Currier; and his great-grandsons, Wyatt Currier and Michael Currier, who will forever remember his example of doing everything to the best of his ability and with a purpose of helping others and do our best to live out the lessons he taught us until we're united with him in glory.
He is also survived by his brother Alvin Miller and Annette; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Troy Miller and Edith Miller; and siblings Emma Luke, James Clark, and Marvin Clark.
Services for Clyde will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, at First Baptist of West Albuquerque.
