Clara Louise Sedillo, 57, of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Friday, March 11, 2016. She was born in Albuquerque, NM to Antonio and Griselda Toledo.
Clara retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2015 after 30 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to destinations across the U.S. She also enjoyed spending quality time with her sons, daughters-in-law and grandson. She was a long and loyal member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish as a religious education teacher, sacristan, pastoral council and church event volunteer.
Clara was preceded in death by her father, Antonio Toledo; and nephew, Tony Toledo.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Norman Sedillo; sons, Juan Sedillo (Elise), their son, Diego, and Paul Sedillo (Megan); mother, Griselda Toledo; siblings, Alex Toledo, Judy Casaus (Tino), Bobby Toledo (Olga), Miguel Toledo (Vicentita), and Elena Gutierrez; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The Rosary will be recited Thursday, March 17, 2016, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 1860 Griegos Road NW. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 18, 2016, 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Any food donations for the reception can be dropped off the day of funeral after 8:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Hall.
