Chuck Foster, 68, met the eyes and open arms of Jesus Christ, his Savior, early in the morning on Monday, September 7, 2026 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Born Charles Haden Foster on October 1, 1957 in Santa Fe, New Mexico to Charles Lindy and Vera Mae Foster, Chuck grew up in Roswell, Lake Arthur, and Portales, New Mexico. Chuck graduated in 1975 from Portales High School and in 1981 with a Masters of Business

Administration from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico.

Chuck will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, and uncle. He loved to spoil his nephews and was always quick with a good joke that would leave them laughing for a lifetime. Chuck was a generous soul who gave openly to anyone in need. Chuck was also a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and followed them through all the good and bad years.

Chuck diligently served his community of Lake Arthur, New Mexico for over 15 years as

Municipal Judge and often brought his unique sense of humor to his courtroom as he presided fairly and justly over the cases brought before him.

Chuck is survived by his twin sister, Charla Richard and husband, Bill, of Edgewood, New Mexico, his sister-in-law, Krista Foster, of Lubbock, Texas, and his four nephews: Nathan Richard (Rebekah), Ben Foster (Bianca), Jonathan Richard (Jamie), and Tim Foster (Erica).

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Vera Foster, his older brothers Michael Foster and Dr. Matthew Foster, and his precious grandparents.

Services for Chuck will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at First Baptist Church, Artesia, New Mexico in the Fellowship Hall at 10:00 AM with his nephew, Dr. Jonathan D. Richard, officiating. The family suggests that attendees may honor Chuck by wearing blue and silver or their best Dallas Cowboys apparel.
