Christina Riker

Christina Maria Riker, age 64, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque died July 12, 2021.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Martinez (husband Benjamin Martinez); her son, James Paul Riker; her sisters, Rita Flores (husband John Flores) and Julia Maddux (husband Gary Maddux); and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Donila and Pablo Romo; sister, Yolanda Madden; and brother, Alvin Romo.

Christina was very active in her church community.  She served for 18 years in the Marianites at Annunciation Parish, was a Sacristan, and a Eucharistic Minister, and she led many rosaries for funerals.  She had a great devotion to The Blessed Sacrament and attended adoration daily.  She was a loving mother and sister and will be greatly missed.

Rosary followed by Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 28, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation Parish, with Msgr. Voorhies, Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
