Cheryl Ann Williams, loving mother and grandmother, passed away on the 18th of January 2026 after a lengthy illness. Cheryl was born in Bitburg Germany on the 3rd of July 1959 to the parents of Harold Edward Howell, Sr., SMSGT, United States Air Force (retired) 1936-2006 and Marie Eva Howell 1940-2020.

Cheryl was a loving mother of three beautiful children, Jason Lamar Howell, Kia Lynn Williams, and Latecia Marie Williams, all residents of Albuquerque New Mexico. Cheryl was also the proud grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren, Jordan Alexis Boyden, Diavian Kelly, Jason Lamar Howell Jr., Eva Celeste McKinney, Sagen Henery Lucien Williams-Tackett, and Elias John Kelly. She was also a wonderful Aunt to Angel Howell, Decia Marie Schuyler, Shelby Lynn Howell, Lisa Howell, Tiffany Howell, and Harold Edward Howell III.

Cheryl is survived by her brothers, Harold Edward Howell, Jr., and Vernon McClain Howell. She has one deceased sister, Celeste Jewel Howell, January 9th, 1965 - March 7th, 2015.

Cheryl held a bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix and received her master's degree in information technology systems from the University of New Mexico. Cheryl worked for Johnson & Johnson as a supervisor of the surgical instruments division for 27 years and retired in 2013. Cheryl continued working after Johnson & Johnson and joined the Albuquerque Public Library System as an Information Systems Engineer, installing, upgrading and maintaining voice, data and computer systems for the Albuquerque libraries from 2014 until her passing. Cheryl loved her grandchildren and spent much of her free time with them; she also spent countless hours exploring and tracing her family's lineage thru genealogy.

Memorial Services will be held on the 12th of February 2026 at 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Westside Chapel.
