Cheryl Christine Jennings Easton

Cheryl Christine Jennings Easton, much beloved wife, mother, and grandma, passed away Tuesday, October 9, at the age of 74 from complications of pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Gary; son, Travis and wife, Maggie; and grandchildren, Sophia, Rebecca, and Marlowe; daughter, Brandy; and grandchildren, Mackenna, Morgan, Madison, and Brynnley, and best friend, Beverly Cooper Robberson; Willow, the dog, and Punkin, the cat, are the last of Cheryl and Gary’s “11 furry kids.” They already miss her greatly.

Cheryl moved to New Mexico from St. Clare Shore, Michigan in 1956. Her father, Bill; mother, Christine; and brothers, Bill and Rick predeceased her. She graduated from Sandia High School, class of 1962.

Throughout her life, Cheryl was an enthusiastic supporter of all of God’s creatures – from the largest to the smallest. She was very much looking forward to crossing the “Rainbow Bridge” with all of our pets so long gone from our life but not our hearts. The strength of her faith and love of the Lord was evident in the way she lived her life and her faith in God.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Mesa Baptist Church, 1411 Golf Course Road, SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124 at 10:30 a.m. Cheryl’s family greatly appreciates the prayers, cards, flowers, and meals from the loving members of the Mesa Baptist Church congregation and all the support from their friends and neighbors.

The Eastons and their pets will be interred in Best Friends Forever at Sunset Memorial Park.
