Charles (Chuck) Vernon Simms passed away November 22, 2022, at La Vida Llena in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Chuck was born on May 14, 1933, to Vernon and Meriam Simms in Fairmont, Minnesota. In 1952 he joined the Air Force, and when stationed in Texas he met Mary Ellen Ritan. They were married in September of 1955.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 67 years; daughters Dixie Gunderson (Todd), Jill Garland (Tracy), Wendy Tanner (Danelle); five grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters.
The family would like to thank the staff of La Vida Llena for the tender care given to Chuck. He will be missed.
