Charles Benjamin Sanzone-Wood, 33, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, passed peacefully at home on June 25, 2026. Born April 30, 1993, Charlie was the baby of the family and spent his brief life in Rio Rancho, where he lived, worked, and was fiercely loved by family and friends.

Throughout his time with us, Charlie followed his evolving interests, including music, which he not only practiced but taught, and comedy, including a brief stint in the ABQ comedy scene. He was an avid reader and was a published writer. Charlie will always be remembered for his pure loving heart and his gentle soul.

Charlie is survived by his parents, Bill Wood and Theresa Sanzone-Wood; his grandfather and namesake, Charles Sanzone; and his four brothers, Sean, Antony, Peter, and Thomas.
