Charles Hall Kirkpatrick

Charles H. Kirkpatrick was born in Tulsa, OK November 1, 1937. He earned a master's degree in physics, worked in the early computer industry, and served many years in the Oklahoma Air National Guard. In 1973, he moved to Santa Fe where he and his brother, Jim, built and co-owned the Inn at Loretto and co-owned the Loretto Chapel. On May 18, 2022, he passed peacefully at home and is now rejoined with his son Scott. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years (June), son (Kevin), daughter-in-law (Gina), grandchildren (Brandon and Meagan) and brother (Jim). It was his wish it be noted that he has "gone to meet his maker." Charles donated frequently and generously to many charities and educational institutions, so in keeping with that spirit we invite anyone who wishes to make a gift or donation to do so to the charity of their choice in his memory.
