Charles "Charley" Howard Kalm, of Albuquerque, was born on February 4, 1982 in Clayton, Union County, New Mexico. He graduated from Sandia High School and attended the University of New Mexico where he majored in German Studies and Philosophy. He also obtained a Masters in Philosophy, and received his law degree from UNM School of Law and practiced law from 2010 to 2026. He was an adventurous soul and loved camping as well as refurbishing and riding motorcycles. He was deeply devoted to his family and especially loved spending time with his children. Charley passed on April 26, 2026 and is survived by his wife, Pavlina, his three children, Tomáš, Judy, and Khloë; parents, Thomas and Reneé; siblings, Katrina (spouse Mathew), Karl, and Cory (spouse Sarah); grandmother, Ruth; father- and mother-in-law, Ludek and Marcela; nephews, Levi, Kaleb, Micah and Michael, as well as numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. He will be greatly missed. Services for Charley will be at French Funerals & Cremations at 7121 Wyoming Saturday May 2, 2026 at 4:00p.m.
