Charles "Chuck" Joseph Homer, born on August 15, 1944, in Santa Rosa, California, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, at the age of 81. Chuck was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, known for his warmth and sense of humor. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he committed his professional life to technical sales, creating his own business in the water management industry, where he built lasting relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
Chuck was also known for his diverse interests and passions. He enjoyed cooking and spent many joyful hours preparing meals for family and friends. He admired and collected gems and minerals, as well as Southwest arts and crafts. He also found joy in raising alpacas, SCUBA diving, and country western dancing. He will be remembered fondly for his adventurous spirit, hearty laughter, and the countless memories he created with those who were fortunate to know him.
Preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Torrance, and survived by his daughter, Kira Fishgrab and her family, Chuck leaves behind a legacy of love, curiosity, and creativity.
Services will be held on December 6th at 11am at The Neighborhood in Rio Rancho, 900 Loma Colorado Blvd. NE Rio Rancho NM 87124.
