Charles Richard Breckenridge

Charles Richard Breckenridge, 91 passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, August 17, 2023. He was born to William and Francis Breckenridge on Friday, September 11,1931 in Blufield WV. He is preceded in death by his wife Andrea, (2018) who was also an incredible mother; and his first grandchild Charles (Charlie) Richard Breckenridge lll (1985).
He is survived by his son Richard, wife (Brenda); three children Joshua (Jessica) , Wesley (Jessica) ,Calie, and (James); and four great grandchildren, Cora, Benjamin, Eldon, and Madelyn. Charles was in the United States Army and stationed in Korea where he was one of the last to leave the Chosin Reservoir theater in December of 1950.
Later in life it was determined he had been inflicted with a acute case of frostbite to his feet during the conflict. His love for this country can only be overshadowed by the love for his family. There now exists a great void that can never be filled.
He has moved on to be with the Lord Jesus Christ and his beloved Wife Andrea of 63 years and his grandson Charlie in Heaven.
