Cecilia Lara

Cecilia "Tita" Lara, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was called to her eternal resting place at the age of 74, on Monday, April 10, 2023 after a long battle with Dementia. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend.

She entered this world on August 21, 1948 in Bryan, TX. Born to Manuel and Viviana Lopez. She was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her husband, Abram Lara; son, Mario Moreno; daughters: Corina Moreno, Lorena Evans-Harrison, Diana Rodriguez and son-in-law, Jose Rodriguez. Cecilia had six younger sisters: Mary Hernandez, Maria Davis, Delia Ybarra, Patricia Perez, Josephine Lopez, and Lupe Belez, as well as eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Cecilia was remarkable woman who loved to sit in a comfy recliner and read a good book or two. She was a hard worker and believed in the simple things in life. She was also a devoted Catholic woman. Cecilia had strong family value beliefs. Her smile and laughter will truly be missed.
