September 9, 1938 — March 8, 2021
Cathy Castillo passed away Monday, March 8, 2021. Cathy was known for her generosity, strong will, and perseverance. She spent quality time with her family playing Scrabble, Rummy, and Mexican Dominos. Cathy was preceded in death by Gillie J. Castillo, husband of 63 years, and mother, Cuca Apodaca. She is survived by brother, Julian (Linda) Apodaca; sister, Sally (Lorie) Perea; and brother, Frank (Edna) Apodaca; children, Helen (Everett) Uchiyama, Martha (Rudy) Salazar, Trish Castillo, Gina (Marcus) Greenwood, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Castillo, and Natalie Castillo; 11 loved grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Services will be held at Calvary Chapel Southwest by Pastor Kent Gray on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Celebration of Life gathering to follow service.
