Catherine Eilene Huning

Catherine Eilene Huning, born on Thursday, June 2, 1955 passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 of natural causes. Known by friends and family as Eilene, she was very creative since her early childhood and became a talented guitarist, pianist, singer, and writer of songs and poetry. Eilene had a keen sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She will be remembered by those close to her for her sincerity and kindness. She loved birds, animals and flowers and the joy they brought to life. Eilene graduated from Highland High School, and received a bachelor's degree in English from University of New Mexico.
