It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carole Janice Carlyle, age 88, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, who left us on January 11, 2026. She was born on March 20, 1937, in Wellington, Ohio.

Carole was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother known for her generosity and dedication to family. She graduated from Sullivan High School and spent years working at Los Altos Golf Course as the restaurant cook, where she made many friends and made a lasting impression. She also spent numerous years as a Walmart greeter.

In addition to raising her four girls, Carole was passionate about her affiliation with Job's Daughters. She held many titles, including Bethel Guardian and Grand Guardian. Carole enjoyed the many years at the New Mexico State Fair booth that the Job's Daughters ran, as well as the annual fireworks booth for fundraising, and she cherished the time spent with family and friends.

Carole is survived by her daughters, Susan Carll (Scott) of Wayland, MA, Diane Sarson (Mark) of Albuquerque, NM and Donna Carlyle (Dale Sexton) of Denver, CO. She is also survived by her sister, Donna Hoffman of Huntington, Ohio; brother, David Weyer of Wellington, OH; and 6 grandchildren, Janelle, Patrick and Michaela Sarson, Michelle, Steven and Karen Garcia. Additionally, she leaves behind her 5 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Carole was preceded in death by her husband John R. Carlyle; her daughter, Linda Austin and her parents, Lloyd and Lavern Weyer.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Westside Chapel. In lieu flowers, the family request donations be made to Argos Animal Rescue or a charity of your choice.

In the words of her favorite hymn, "Amazing Grace-How Sweet the Sound," Carole's life was a beautiful melody that will resonate in our hearts forever. Her legacy will live on through her children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
