Carol Eileen
Garrett
May 25, 1950 – March 29, 2026
Carol Eileen (Randall) Garrett entered the loving arms of the Lord, March 29, 2026, after a long illness. Carol was born in Albuquerque to Perry Leonard and Mabel Blanche Randall on May 25, 1950. She was a life-long resident of Albuquerque.
Carol attended Rio Grande High School and was part of the first graduating class at West Mesa High School. She became a licensed cosmetologist, employed by J C Penney's hair salon. Her artistic abilities are apparent in the oil paintings she created.
Carol was a member of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem for many years, participating in Native American dances, particularly the Eagle Dance. She performed at national events in numerous states across the country. In 2015, she took the opportunity to tour Israel, which became a highlight of her life. Carol was a faithful member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church and loved to share the Gospel with anyone who would listen. God and family were her two greatest loves. She home schooled her youngest son.
In 1970, Carol married Grayson W. Garrett thanks to a blind date arranged by her dad. They had been together for 55 years. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and son, Thomas Lee Garrett. She is survived by her husband, Grayson; sons, Michael and Jesse; and daughter, Sarah French-Lujan, (husband Jeffrey); and five grandchildren, Emily, James, Joseph, Jesse and Jackson.
