Carlos Yguado, a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and friend, passed away on August 6, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, devotion, faith, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Carlos was born on December 31, 1975, in El Paso, Texas, to Cruz Reza and Inosencia Cordova, who are blessed to continue carrying his memory. At a young age, Carlos made New Mexico his home alongside his beloved siblings, Octavio, Josephine, Fernando, Maricruz, and Luis. The bonds he shared with his family were an important part of who he was, and he remained a loving son and brother throughout his life.
Carlos met the love of his life, Brenda Yguado, and together they built a beautiful life centered around love, faith, and family. They were married for 31 years and were blessed with four children: Katherine Gonzalez, Carlos Mathew Yguado, Erica Yguado, and Rebeca Yguado.
To Carlos, his family was everything. They were his greatest pride, his greatest joy, and the reason behind so much of what he did. He was selfless in his love and never failed to be there for the people he cared for. He gave his family his whole heart and loved them to the fullest extent. His presence brought comfort, strength, and warmth, and his family will forever carry the love he gave them.
Carlos dedicated 23 years of his life to serving his community through his career with the Metropolitan Detention Center. He took great pride in his work and served with honor, respect, and commitment. His career was a reflection of the kind of man he was-someone who believed in doing his part, serving others, and carrying himself with dignity. His family was immensely proud of all he accomplished.
Above all, Carlos lived a God-fearing life. His faith was an important part of his journey, and he carried that faith with him in the way he loved and treated others. Carlos had a gift for being a light in every situation. Whether surrounded by happiness or standing beside someone during difficult times, he had a way of bringing light, comfort, and hope. His kindness, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed.
Carlos Yguado was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and friend. Though his life was taken far too soon, the love he gave will never leave those who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy lives on through his wife, children, parents, siblings, family, friends, coworkers, and all the lives he touched throughout his 50 years.
He will be missed more than words can express, but he will never be forgotten.
Carlos' life celebrations will begin with a visitation to be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026 starting at 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a funeral service to start at 12:30 p.m. at FRENCH - University.
