C. Michael Newman

Charles Michael Newman, 87, of Albuquerque, passed away on September 8, 2024, after a long and fulfilling life.

Michael was born on June 25, 1937, in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Michael married Joyce Ann Horlacher in 1965, during their 59 years of marriage they had four children: Jonathan Karns, Allen Michael, Matthew Stewart, and Daniel Paul.

In 2019, Michael retired and spent time cruising the world, reading wonderful books, and spending time with his family.

Michael was predeceased by son Allen Michael.

He is survived by his wife: Joyce Ann, his children: Jonathan & Amy, Matthew & Monica, and Daniel & Jenny, his grandchildren: Ashley, Lorenzo, Kylie, Kiera, Danielle, Jonathan Allen, Zack, Jadon, Jacob Allen, Mitchell, Brian & Megan, and 8 Great-Grandchildren.

Michael was the most generous, kind-hearted man. He was a dedicated and loving husband; and his sons meant the world to him. He taught us all to make beautiful memories. He set the perfect example for his family, church and friends in all things. He will be sorely missed.

Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Eubank Chapel located at 4109 Eubank Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM, at 10:00 AM.

Internment Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, located at 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM, following the funeral services.
