Bruce F. Burton

Bruce F. Burton, 76, left us on August 13, 2018 being cared for and tended to by his “lovely bride” Darlene.

Bruce was born December 4, 1941 in Glendale, California to Oliver and Marge Burton.  After Bruce moved to Clovis, New Mexico, he met and married his soulmate, Darlene.  They moved to Albuquerque where they started their family and numerous businesses.

His interests included family, motorcycles, hot rods, racing, buying and selling cars.  At home up until his final days, you could always find Bruce in his immaculate kept garages, working on some kind of souped-up toy, tinkering on his computer, having a Diet Pepsi before 5:00 and indulging in a Gin & Tonic after.  His family and friends were always greeted with him being there.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Darlene; sons, Bart and Chris and his wife, Amy; and two cherished grandchildren, Samantha (13) and Aidyn (11).  He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Mildred Erwin.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018, 1:00 p.m., at Grace Church, 6901 San Antonio Dr. NE.
