Brooks Ambos

(1934-2025)

Brooks L. Ambos Jr., a devoted husband, father, veteran, and pastor, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on July 24, 1934, Brooks lived a life guided by faith, service, and an unwavering sense of purpose.

Brooks proudly served his country for 20 years as a Naval aviator, carrying out his duties with courage and love of country.

Following his military service, Brooks answered a spiritual calling and became a Methodist pastor serving in New Mexico conference for 20 years.

Brooks is survived by his beloved wife, Donna, with whom he shared a lifetime of partnership, love, and faith. He is also survived by his children, Vernon and Brooksene, grandchildren Madi, Emma, Cole and Ian, great grandchildren Leroy and Dean, who will carry forward his legacy.
