Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Brennan Thomas was born on February 26, 2009, and brought energy, excitement, and joy to his family from an early age. Whether it was the thrill of discovering a bicycle waiting for him when his family moved to Germany or surprising everyone by climbing a rope at just eight years old, Brennan approached life with enthusiasm and confidence. Naturally athletic, he learned to ride a bike at the age of three, participated in local 5K races, and embraced challenges like the Winter Soldier Run around Lake Ontario in temperatures nearing negative fifteen degrees.

Family meant everything to Brennan. He shared a special bond with his brother, Jake a relationship filled with both competition and deep love.

Though they often challenged one another, they were inseparable.

Brennan also had a gentle and nurturing side, especially with his younger brothers, Raleigh, Avery, and Emery. He deeply loved his sister and his parents, who shaped him into the person that showed a maturity and compassion that left a lasting impression on those around him.

Brennan enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He looked forward to Pizza Fridays, a family tradition that continued for more than seven years. As a child, he loved to dance, patiently wore the matching outfits his mother chose, and enjoyed spending time with family. His favorite color was blue, though at one point it had been red.

Brennan loved being active and participated in several different sports with the most recent being the track team at Vilseck High School. He considered becoming a veterinary technician because of his love for animals and explored the possibility of military service. Brennan will be remembered for his athletic spirit, his caring heart, his devotion to his family, and the joy he brought to those around him. Though his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain with us always.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, 9:00 a.m. at the Valencia Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 160 James st. Los Lunas, NM 87031. Brennan will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Albuquerque, New Mexico
