Brei Baca

Brei P. Baca was born Feb, 27, 1939, and passed away September, 29, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro R. Baca; mother, Maria A. Baca; his daughter, Cynthia M. Baca; Miriam Baca Armijo.; his sister, Ruth Baca Chavez; sister, Edna Baca Zaman; sister, Miriam Baca Armijo; and his brother, John Baca.

He is survived by his wife, Hermelinda L. Baca; daughter, Sheila Baca; son, Brei P. Baca Jr.; and grandsons and granddaughters, as well as great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard Baca, and Tomas Baca and his sister, Lida Baca.

He worked as a mechanic and as an instructor. He loved the outdoors and hunting, hiking, and ATV and off-roading with his family.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 11 am at French Funerals - Lomas Chapel, followed by a graveside service at 12:30 pm at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.

A reception will follow the graveside service at La Luz Del Mundo Church, 5 Monica Rd, Peralta, NM 87042, located in Los Lunas.
