Bradley Scott Traughber

May 23, 1957 — July 31, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Bradley Scott Traughber announces his sudden passing on July 31, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM. Brad was born on May 23, 1957, to Patsy (Hensman) Traughber and James Vernon Traughber in Hollywood, CA. Brad grew up in San Pedro, CA and graduated from San Pedro High School Class of 1975. He started working at a young age delivering newspapers for the San Pedro News Pilot. He had a long career with the Southern California Gas Co. 1982-2015, most of it up in San Luis Obispo County. Brad had many health issues but fought like "Superman" through so many different ailments. He was a double transplant recipient, receiving a liver in 2009 and a kidney in 2025. Nobody had a better or more hopeful attitude about life than Brad.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest brother, James. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucinda; sons, Jason (Kelley), Jeffrey (Jennifer); stepson, Joshua Bramlett and daughter-in-law, Delia Valdivia; grandchildren, Matthew and Valerie Bramlett, Avery and Easton Traughber, and Chiara, Isabelle, Lucy and Gemma Traughber.

He is also survived by his much-loved brothers, Mark (Marta), Mike (Jackie), along with his older brother, Chris (Gail). He is survived by his adored niece and nephews and their families, Nora, Zane and Patrick.

There will be no services per Brad's wishes. His remains will be scattered at a later date. He did donate whatever he could to give others a chance in life. Rest in peace, my love until we meet again. I love you, Brad.
