Billy C Marquez

Our beloved spouse, father, son, brother, grandfather and father-in-law. Billy C. Marquez, born in Marquez, NM on September 15th, 1940, sadly passed away on October 24th, 2023 at the age of 83.

He loved to say he was Marquez, Marquez, Marquez from Marquez. He was a wonderful husband, who loved his vacations with his wife and were inseparable. He loved going fishing, hunting, and casinos, his favorite being Santa Ana. He left a lot of memories for us. 

He is predeceased in death by his parents Jose and Presilina Marquez, in-laws Jose and Camila Armijo, brothers Laurio and Tito Marquez, sister Clorinda Marquez, brother-in-law Bobby Armijo and Alfred Marquez, grandchildren Evelyn Maestas and Timothy Salazar.

He is survived by his wife Sofia of 64 years, married on August 7th, 1959. Children Edna (Ernest Pohl) and family, Margie (Edward), James (Cathy), Mellie (Johnny) and family, Joseph (Emily) and family, Geneva (Peter) and family, and lots of nieces and nephews. 

Billy worked as a contractor for his own company Marquez and Son's. We want to thank everyone for all the prayers, food, and donations. May God Bless You All!
