Billie Carl Thoms, Sr.

Billie Carl Thoms, Sr., age 92, passed away during the early morning hours of September 16, 2023, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico after a long battle with cancer. Bill was born on April 2, 1931, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the union of Sammie Carl Thoms and Susan Augusta Muth Thoms.

He is survived by three children, Billie Thoms, Jr., (Betty), Nancy Tubre (James), and Scott Thoms (Holly), and one adopted daughter, Diane Drake. Also mourning his death are twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. His only "Much younger" brother, Paul Thoms (Marion) will miss him as well.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, beginning at 3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m., FRENCH - Westside. The burial will be held Wednesday, October 4th, 2023,  at 12:30 p.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
