Billie (Opperman) Nelson

Billie (Opperman) Nelson, age 68, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She is survived by her children, Eric Nelson, and Jennifer Nelson and fiance, David Royster; two grandchildren, Carlee Habicht and husband, Daniel, and Gregory Nelson; one great-grandson, Nathaniel Habicht; siblings, Lawrence Opperman and wife, Debbie, and Donna Hoffman; and other relatives and friends. Billie was born in 1947 in Albuquerque to Arthur and Fern Opperman and graduated from Manzano High School. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Cremation has taken place and per Billie's request, no services will be held.
