With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Billie Nadine Jordan, 97, who peacefully left this world on December 4, 2024, at Ravenna Assisted Living Home in Albuquerque, NM. Billie was born on March 21, 1927, in Corbet, Texas, near Corsicana, in a country home where she began her journey in life.

Billie was a dedicated homemaker for most of her life, especially in Alamogordo, NM, where she lovingly cared for her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her nurturing spirit, kindness, and commitment to her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vernie Jordan, and her son, Joe Jordan. She is survived by her oldest son, Keith Jordan; grandson Zachary Jordan; granddaughter Courtney Jordan; great-grandchildren Christian Jordan and Sebastian Jordan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Corsicana and Dallas, Texas.

Billie was deeply committed to her faith and church, being an active member of First Baptist Church of Albuquerque. She treasured her church family and friends, and her love for them was evident in all she did. She often shared a special family story with a smile: her brother, Theron, had a horse named Billy, and he lovingly named her Billie after his favorite horse.

A funeral service to honor Billie's life will be held at First Baptist Church of Albuquerque on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Albuquerque, a place that meant so much to Billie throughout her life.

Billie's loving spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
