Mrs. Beverly Ann Vaughn (formerly Martin) transcended her physical body on the morning of December 15th, 2025. Beverly achieved the age of 67 before passing away in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Beverly's kind and generous soul has now fully returned to the arms of her creator in spirit, leaving a legacy of fierce independence and pure imagination behind her. Her 37-year-career as a registered dental hygienist contributed to a comfortable home life and wondrous childhood for her three kids. In her own words, Beverly had a passion and "philosophy of empowering patients with knowledge so they can understand how and why their oral health can affect their overall well being." Outside of her career in dental hygiene, Beverly studied natural ayurvedic and holistic medicine as a passion and interest. She practiced Surat Shabda and Ashtanga Yoga, and was an active and cherished member of the yoga and active communities.
Her interest in understanding alternative health modalities carried well into retirement as she ventured on the arduous process of being initiated into the Master Path, the Divine Teachings of Light and Sound. In 2020, Beverly received her initiation letter to join satsangs, a communal seminar of fellow initiates. Beverly was dedicated to writing essays musing on the principles, methods and interpretations of history's most well recognized spiritual teachers including Jesus Christ, Siddhartha Gauatama (Buddha), Rumi and Lao Tzu. These efforts gave Beverly's life great meaning and added spiritual depth. The core of this depth stemmed from her characteristics as a generous visionary for her family, a kind love for all of God's creatures, and a "light-hearted" sense of humor.
Beverly's life was marked by her determination to achieve the vision she had for family. She was known for initiating travel plans across the globe and making every holiday a magical experience for everyone. She was a modicum for motherhood and individualized health. Beverly's innate ability to stay informed, cook delicious meals and exercise consistently, influenced every person in her immediate family to reach for a state of supreme health. An idealist driven with her own principles and values, Beverly put every aspect of her life into her own terms which demonstrated her resilient will power and autonomy.
Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Roger Vaughn, three children, eldest daughter Lauren and her husband Billy, her youngest daughter Holly, her son Dane and his wife Taylor, and her sister Pam Martin-Johns and husband Donald Johns. A celebration of life is being held at French's Mortuary located at 7121 Wyoming Boulevard NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109, on January 9th, 2026 at 3PM. A reception will be held at the family home following her service, welcoming all who had experienced Beverly to share their memories of her as a part of celebrating a life well-lived.
