In Loving Memory of Beverly Jean Cover

Beverly Jean Cover, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on August 15, 1936, in Winchester, Indiana, Beverly lived a life full of love, service, and devotion to her family, friends, and community.

Beverly was the cherished wife of John Cover, with whom she shared 70 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a family that was her greatest pride and joy. She is survived by her loving husband John, and their four sons: David (wife Stephanie) of Elgin, South Carolina; Dan (wife Kim) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Brad of Houston, Texas; and Derek Junco (wife Diana) of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Beverly was a devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren: Brandon (wife Natasha), Danielle, Lacy, Alex (wife Timberli), Matt, Julianna, Trent (wife Nicole), and Brooke (husband Tyler). She also delighted in her six great-grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Alice Harrison; her brother, Richard Harrison; and her sister, Cynthia Junco. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Beverly dedicated much of her professional life to the financial services industry, working as a branch operations supervisor. She retired from Sunwest Bank in 1992, leaving behind a legacy of diligence, kindness, and mentorship to those with whom she worked.

A woman of faith, Beverly was a member of Calvary Church of Albuquerque, serving others with the love of Christ. She was proud to be a member of Sigma Phi Gamma sorority and the Red Hat Society, groups that filled her life with cherished friendships and community outreach.

Beverly believed in giving back and was a longtime volunteer for Albuquerque Meals on Wheels, delivering meals and warm smiles to those in need. Her compassion and generosity touched the lives of many.

Beverly treasured time spent with friends, especially during lively card games that often lasted into the early morning hours. She enjoyed occasional trips to Sandia Casino, where camaraderie and laughter filled her room as cards were dealt and stories shared.

Above all, Beverly's life was guided by her faith. She loved Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and her devotion was evident in the kindness, patience, and love she showed everyone she met.

Beverly's legacy of love, service, and faith will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family and her many friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at FRENCH-Wyoming. Visitation will begin at 10 am, funeral services at 11 am, followed by a reception. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Albuquerque Meals on Wheels or Calvary Church of Albuquerque in Beverly's memory.
