Betty Louise Morrison

Betty Johnson Morrison passed away Sunday night, March 22nd, 2026, in her sleep. Betty was born into a family consisting of six sisters. She was born on March 22nd, 1947, to AO and Willie Mae Johnson. Betty is survived by two elder sisters, Anita Long and Sarah Hesket. She is also survived by three younger sisters, Judy Corbet, Teresa Glenn, and Cecelia Henderson Eriksen. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Roy T. Morrison in 2022 and their only son, Brian in 2020.

Betty graduated from Murphy High School, Mobile, Alabama in 1965 and was a graduate of Ambassador College, Pasadena, California. Betty and Roy were married from 1972 until his passing in 2022. Betty and Roy had one child, a son, Brian, in 1974. Brian preceded his parents in death in 2020 from diabetic complications. Betty began showing signs of Alzheimer's disease about a year before her husband's death, which slowly progressed until her rest this evening. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed snow skiing and time at her church.

Services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2026, 12:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming, followed by a reception. A brief interment service will be held at 2:00 p.m., at Sandia Memory Gardens.
