Betty Louise Gold

Betty Louise Gold, aged 88, joyfully surrendered to the embrace of eternity on October 12, 2026, after a life well lived. Born on June 21, 1938, in Albuquerque, NM, she was a cherished daughter of Pete and Rose Gold. Betty dedicated her life to caring for others as a devoted caretaker at the Maria Amadeous Shelter, where her compassion and gentle spirit made a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.

Betty is celebrated as the beloved mother of three children: Salina Montoya and her husband, Eddie; Richard Barreras; and Steve Gold. Her family, a cornerstone of her life, includes her adored grandchildren Justin, Sarae, Esteven, Orion, and Demetrias, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren Ellie Joy, Olivia James, Zia, and Holly and Zida. Betty's love extended to the many nieces and nephews who brought joy and laughter to her life, creating bonds that she treasured deeply.

Preceding her in death are her devoted parents, Pete and Rose, her sisters Loubelle and Irene, and her dear grandson Andon. Betty's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her.

Betty will be cremated, with her final resting place set to be at at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM, where her memory will forever dwell.
