Betty De La Porte

September 12, 1937 — June 8, 2025

Betty Nell De La Porte, born September 12, 1937, was called home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2025. Betty dedicated many, many years to being a faithful servant to Jesus in her life, home, and church. She also treasured being a librarian for the children of Albuquerque Public Schools.

She is survived by her children, Marca De La Porte, Jimmy Anderson, and his wife, Gai Gai, Kay Rayls, and her husband, Greg, her grandchildren Kim, Dawn, Jason, Emilio, Elias, Jeremy, Esperanza, Jameson, Evan, Neema, Titus, Angella, great grandchildren, and many more family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Eugene De La Porte.

Viewing is Friday, June 13, 4:00-7:00pm at French Mortuary on Wyoming in Albuquerque. Memorial service is Monday, June 16, 9:00am, at Albuquerque's First Baptist Church; followed by internment at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00pm.
