Bethany Pendergrass

Bethany Pendergrass passed away peacefully in her sleep after courageously navigating more than seven years of life with cancer. She faced her illness with strength, grace, and unwavering determination, inspiring all who knew her.

Beth is survived by her devoted husband, her loving parents, two brothers, two sisters, five nieces, one nephew, and her two beloved dogs. She now joins her half-sister in eternal rest.

A passionate advocate for public education, Beth dedicated her professional life to strengthening schools, uplifting students, and building partnerships that made a lasting impact on her community. Her work was not just a career-it was her calling. She believed deeply in the power of education to change lives and gave her heart and soul to that mission.

Beth was cherished by her family, treasured by her friends, and respected by colleagues near and far. Her humor, compassion, wisdom, and authenticity left a mark on countless lives.

She will be remembered for her love of life, her fierce loyalty, her courage in the face of adversity, and the deep and abiding love she gave to those around her.

A celebration of Beth's life will be held on July 12th at 9:00 am at the LDS Stake Center at 300 Loma Colorado Blvd. NE (across from Rio Rancho High) in Rio Rancho New Mexico, where stories will be shared, laughter will be encouraged, and her vibrant spirit will be honored. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to her GoFundMe account to support the Strength through Adversity scholarships to support public education in her memory.
