Our beloved Bernice Michelle Vigil went home to be with our Lord on February 27, 2025.
Bernice was born to Ruben Vigil and Tanya Frank on June 4, 1981 in Albuquerque, NM. As a woman of unwavering belief, Bernice's love for the Lord was regularly shared with others through her actions of kindness, compassion, and care. When someone had a need or was hurting, she made them feel like the most important person, counseled them, lifted them up and encouraged them. When in her presence, Bernice's joy and laughter were contagious. She lived life out loud and we loved her for it. She taught us to embrace our own unique selves and to find joy in the spotlight. She was truly beautiful inside and out. She devoted her life to her children and found her true purpose in being their mother. She raised her children in the ways of the Lord, teaching them to love, and to trust in Him always.
Bernice is survived by her three beautiful children, Nikkie Dulaney, Jayce Asplund, and Levi Ruben Asplund. She is also remembered with love by her many family and friends who deeply grieve her passing. We find solace in the hope of Christ's resurrection and the assurance that we will one day be reunited with her in God's eternal kingdom.
A celebration of her life will be held at French - Wyoming on May 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM, where we will gather to honor her memory and rejoice in the promise of everlasting life.
