Bernadette Chavez

Bernadette Chavez, 53, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Bernadette was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be missed dearly by all those who loved her. She is survived by her son, Lukas Chavez and wife, Jillian; grandchildren, Vincent, PJ, Allison, and Jaden; sisters, Connie (Jimmy), Ruth (Gonzallo Dozal), Rachel (Joe Griego), Marie (Jeff Page), Stella (Don), and Theresa (Ruben Aguirre); brother, Lawrence Chavez; 24 nieces and nephews; and her 53 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Chavez; her mother and father, Ramon and Candelaria Chavez; and her brothers, Larry Chavez, Anthony Chavez, Raymond Chavez, and Michael Chavez.

Services will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH-University for those who are unable to attend a live stream will be available below . Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, 87102
