Benjamin Abeyta

Benjamin Abeyta, 90, passed peacefully at home with his family at his side on Sunday, June 3, 2018. He is survived by his wife, Mary of 67 years; sons, Benjamin (Geretta), Chris (Patricia), Joseph, Matthew (Becky), Marc (Nancy); 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, brother, Severiano Abeyta (Dolly); sister, Jennie Vallejos (Alex), sister in law; Mary Jean Abeyta, Chris Abeyta and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eutimio and Beatrice Abeyta; sisters, Virginia Abeyta, Margaret Armijo; brothers, Richard, Tim, and Frank Abeyta. Benjamin served in the Navy; he was a federal fire fighter and sold “Bennies Ice Cream”. A Rosary will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. and the Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 12 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 5415 Fortuna Rd NW Albuquerque, NM 87105 followed by a burial at Mt.
