Barbara Vickers

Barbara Vickers, born June 23, 1933, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the age of 90. She is survived by her five grandchildren, Kari, Russell, Shaun, Tyson and Lacey; four great-grandchildren, Hailey, Alicia, Hayden, and Hilary; three sisters, Alene, Peggy, and Scarlett; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Arthure Davis; her loving husband of 58 years, Bill Vickers; her sons, William and Dennis Vickers; her sister, Norma Jean DeBoise; and her granddaughter, Rebecca Vickers.

Barbara was a homemaker and kept a very immaculate home. She also enjoyed reading, classic movies, gardening, shopping, and collecting anything with cardinals. She was a very active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where her and her husband served as Ward Missionaries and enjoyed working in the temple. She enjoyed talking about the days her and Bill would travel in their RV and the time they lived in Ohio.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024, 10:00 a.m., at the Montano Chapel North Valley Ward, 1100 Montano Rd. NW. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
