Barbara Ann Myers

Barbara Ann Myers, 86 years of age, beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 19th, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family at the moment of her passing.

Barbara was born July 10th, 1937 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Thomas and Dorothy Jack. She was the oldest of 4 children, two of which preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and husband. Barbara married the late Gene Myers December 27th, 1955 and had two children. She was in the Order of the Eastern Star and also a member of a bowling league. Barbara loved to spend time with her family and friends and talk on the phone for hours. Family was at the center of Barbara’s life, and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. Her home was always open to guests, and she took great pleasure in cooking meals that brought people together. She is survived by her daughter Katherine Myers, who has 3 children and 2 grandchildren, and her son Gene and wife Debbie Myers, who have 9 children, 23 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Barbara was a very loving and caring person who will be dearly missed. A memorial service to celebrate Barbara’s life will be held on Tuesday July 2nd, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Los Chavez, NM at 10:30am, followed by interment at Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen, NM at 12:00 noon.

Barbara Ann Myers will be remembered for her kindness, wisdom, and the enduring legacy of love she leaves behind. May she rest in peace, knowing she made a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
