Barbara Fallin Miller

Barbara Fallin Miller of Rio Rancho NM, age 81, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 13, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayland and Rena Fallin; and sister, Patricia Wagner. Barbara is survived by her husband of 56 years, David; sons, Mike and Steve Fenn; three grandchildren, Zack, Dillon, and Sierra; and six great-grandchildren, Alex, Kersey, Yeneli, Mili, Jose Jr., and Isabel.

Barbara retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, October 17, 1992 after serving over 33 years. She began her Federal career as a Clerk-Stenographer in Washington, DC with the Department of Agriculture. After moving to New Mexico, she went to work for the Forest Service, Personnel Management, on May 7, 1962, beginning as a Clerk-Stenographer, and ending as an Employee Development Specialist in April 1990. She then transferred to the Public Affairs Office as a Writer Editor, until her early retirement in October 1992.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at Mountainside United Methodist Church, 4 Penny Ln in Cedar Crest, NM.
