Barbara Jaramillo

BARBARA ANNE JARAMILLO (70) beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother quietly departed this life at home surrounded by her family.

Barbara was born in Taos, NM to Dolores and Vences Trujillo on July 8th, 1954.

Barbara's beautiful life will always be cherished by the lives of her husband of 52 years, Robert Jaramillo, three children, Mario Jaramillo, Joseph Jaramillo (Andrea) and Celeste Lucero (Brian); Grandchildren Carlos Lucero, Ryan Lucero (Vanessa), Lucas Jaramillo, Christain Lucero, Nicholas Jaramillo, Anika Lucero and Jude Jaramillo; Great grandchildren Emery Lucero and Avery Lucero; Brothers and sisters Isabell Trujillo, Vences Trujillo Jr., (Angie), Abelino Trujillo, Anthony Trujillo ( Gina ), Josie Barela (Mark), Christine Trujillo, David Trujillo ( Paula), Maryann Trujillo, Marie Trujillo, Patricia Dorsey and devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Barbara was proceeded in death by her parents Dolores and Vences Trujillo, sisters Evangeline Chacon, Joanne Rael, Andrea Garcia and Victoria Trujillo.

Barbara lived in Taos, NM until the age of 9 when her parents move to Center, Colorado. She graduated from Center High School. After her marriage to Robert, they moved to Albuquerque in 1976 where they raised their children. She attended UNM where she received her Associates of Art Degree. Professionally she worked at Plains Electric and Public Service Company of New Mexico from which she retired.

Barbara enjoyed her time attending her children's and grandchildren's football, soccer and basketball games, the mountains, skiing, music and dancing. But nothing compared to the love and joy she shared with her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.

Barbara's life was as beautiful as the red roses she loved so much. Her Love, Friendliness and warmth will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.

Burial for Barbara will be held on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Taos, NM at Camposanto de Penas Negras.
