Arthur Hugh (Grimes) Grimes

Arthur Hugh Grimes, age 67, passed away Monday, December 7, 2020. Arthur was born in Clayton, OK on May 6, 1953 and lived in Boise City, OK. He attended Boise City Elementary and High School. He graduated from Pikes Peake Community College in 1993 with a degree in Electronics. Arthur worked for Cimarron County District #2 in Boise City for 5 years and was in the US Army NM National Guard AGR for 21 years. He worked for Public Service New Mexico for 5 years, the VA Hospital for 2.5 years, USDA Forest Service 11.5 years for a total of 14 years Civil Service. He retired January 7, 2017 with 35 years of Federal Service.

Arthur is survived by his wife/soulmate/best friend, Eileen; stepson, Jeremy (Audrey); grandson, Zachery; and mother-in-law, Esther Trammell. He also leaves many cherished friends who are considered brothers and sisters, plus all the many fantastic friends who he was proud to know and have in his life. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Mildred Grimes; sister, Mary Lou Schimmer; and 9-year-old son, Matthew.

Arthur lived a life full of great family and friends. He was not rich in money, but he was the richest man in the world with family and friends, and great times spent with greatest partner there could be, his wife Eileen.
