Anna May Currier

Anna May Currier, 80 years old, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on December 16, 2017.

She was born in Lincoln County, CO July 28, 1937 to Lenard and Cecilia Thompson. Anna married Gene G. Currier May 19, 1956 and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM since 1970.

She is survived by her children, Daniel Currier, Donnie Currier and wife, Anne, Teresa Daniel and husband, Larry, Janet Saint, Leonard Currier, Gary Currier and wife, Debra; grandchildren, Doug, John and wife, Jennifer, Gene and wife, Amanda, Lisa, Andy and wife, Robyn, Danielle, Christian, Gabe, Mariah and husband, Anthony; great grandchildren, Evan, Dustin, Zech, Jaiden, Beki, Justin, Garrett, and Jacob; brother, Raymond Thompson and wife, Marj; sister, Agnes Parker and husband, Dan; sister-in-laws, Mary Thompson and Rayleene Thompson; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter-in-law, Terry Currier; mother and father; and two brothers, Dale and David Thompson.

Anna was a devoted mother who loved her children and grandchildren and adored her great grandchildren. She loved to sew and was involved in the Sew and Share group at her church who made quilts for the storehouse. She and was a devoted member of Messiah Lutheran Church. She was kind and loving to anyone she met and was a selfless woman always putting others needs ahead of her own. She was loved and respected by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Friends may visit Wednesday, December 20, 2017, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 11515 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. Interment will follow the Funeral Service in Santa Fe National Cemetery.
